In 2004, Square announced their plans to release the SNES titles to the gameboy Advance, and thus it was called the "Final Fantasy Finest collection". Later, the already released Final Fantasy I-II Dawn of Souls was included into the compilation. Each of these games boasts improved graphics, sounds, extra features, and new areas with new monsters and bosses to face.
The biggest difference is, of course, the translations in these ports. The translations were completely redone, and given just a bit more depth and appeal to them. For people like me who scoffed the plot/story of Final Fantasy V, the re-translation of the GBA version was a very welcome thing to see. Some agree with me, while others who liked the original translations for America might not be too thrilled.
This section of Final Fantasy Kingdom covers all the differences of the GBA ports. Each game will include everything in the original games, with any translations made. Things such as Reina's name being changed to Lenna. And Atma Weapon being given the proper name of Ultima Weapon.
All the new sprites will be added here, as well as any new sections, or optional areas from the GBA ports. So if you are looking to find the new jobs for V, what Espers and spells you get in VI, or what new bosses are found in I and II, here is where you will find them.
