As you may know, when you complete a battle, you are rewarded with PP (Player Points). These points can then be used to purchase a wide arrangement of things. For example, you can get a different look for the characters, battle voices, boosts in EXP, AP, etc, or other things. It is definitely worth the effort to get certain things such as the calander and cpu levels unlocked fairly quickly. Also you should get every character unlocked ASAP.
