Soul Synthesizing
Across from Hammer's shop, you will find Yoko. She has set up a very unique shop, where she mixes weapons with the souls of the enemies you have obtained to make new weapons. This soul synthesizing is about the only way to get the really good weapons in the game. If you obtain new weapons, you should always check back with Yoko, and see if they can be made into something better than what they are. Not always is the upgrade on the weapon a better choice thuogh. Be careful when you synthesize. I would suggest saving right above the shop, before you do it, in case you do not like the outcome of the synthesis.
