Legend of Zelda Characters

	Link Though very young, Link has the determination and courage to face Ganon, and end his evil. Impa found Link, and after telling him of the evil, Link took up the journey to free Princess Zelda, and return the Triforce. He has what it takes to be a hero to all, despite his youthful age.
	Princess Zelda Princess Zelda is the ruler of Hyrule. She was the holder of the Triforce, before Ganon took them splitting one into 8 pieces. After sending Impa out to find a hero to face the evil Ganon, Zelda was kidnapped by Banon. Now it's up to Link to save the her and all of hyrule.
	Merchant The merchant of Hyrule is located all over. He is more than eager to assist Link in his journey to rescue the Princess Zelda from Ganon. Everything from helpful equipment to much needed items, the Merchant is always close by.
	Old Man The Old Man is there to help you out. From the very beginning, he gives you the Wooden Sword to battle evil, gives you clues in each dungeon, and provides a means for the Medicine Woman to make you potions. Be careful that you do not hit him though, as his statues will retaliate!
	Medicine Woman No one in Hyrule is better at creating life saving potions than the Medicine Woman. Once she gains the letter from the Old Man, she will begin making potions to help Link on his journey. She also wishes to see the princess returned, and Ganon defeated.
	Fairies Fairies live all over Hyrule, and aid people who are injured and weak. Ganon has sought them out for his own purpose, but to no avail. Still his minions keep them prisoner. They have vowed to help Link whenever he finds them, and restore his energy to continue fighting.
