The most commonly missed one is in Terra's storyline. Xehanort's Report 5 is the only report not gained by going throuh the storyline. You need to defeat the Weaver Fever challenge in the Mirage Arena, and that is not a small feat to undertake.
Once you have the reports, you will need to defeat any of the characters final boss battles again. Then you will get teh Final Episode save file.
Land of Departure: The Final Battle
In the Final Episode, you will be in control of Aqua. After a series of events, you will get teh Brightcrest Keyblade. She will then return to the world map, and you will notice a dark cloud surrounding Land of Departure. This is, of course, the scene of the final battle, but you need not rush right in and fight. Actually it is advised that you don't just yet. You can take your time, visit other worlds, and finish any collections you might need. Also take some time to do some serious level grinding. The best places are in the Mirage Arena, as well as the Keyblade Graveyard's Twister Trench. In the arena, Aqua can get her Ultimate Shocklock and Ultima Weapon Keyblade, if they have not been obtained yet. When you feel you are amply ready, head in for the final fight. (If you have trouble with this boss, return to level up some more. It is surprizing what just a few levels can do for you!)

Before you even attempt this fight, make sure Aqua is equiped with both the Once More and Second Chance abilities. These will be major lifesavers in this battle. Also make sure to have maxed out her Dark Screen ability. This will greatly reduce a number of attacks that Terra/Xehanort has. You might be compelled to fill your deck with massive attacks such as Mega Flare, but though one or so might be fine, you will want to reserve those for restoration items and spells. It would be a good idea to even set a short cut for Curaga. In actuality, very few offensive commands work well in this fight, but Magic Hour and Time Splicer do wonders.
Aqua's Humble Barrier is also crucial to this fight. This can bounce Terra/Xehanort's Shotlock Bullets back at him. These might seem to cause a minimal amount of damage, but it does quickly add up. Anytime your foe comes in for a close shot, block him and Counter Blast for a few more HP of damage.
When Terra/Xehanort stops gliding around, it is time to get the Magic Hour or Time Splicer ready and fired. This tactic does not always work, but when it connects, it deals out a huge amount of damage. But be ready to block when Terra/Xehanort goes into retalliation!
Though this guy can dodge Shotlocks, it doesn't mean they are completely useless. When he is far away, hit him with a few projectiles at a time. It will do some more damage to him, while keeping you safely away from him. Don't try a full load, since Terra/Xehanort does not stay in one place for very long.
Once you have whittled away all of his HP, a demonic guardian within Terra emerges for another round of combat.

Before you freak out thinking you have got to try and beat this tough advasary again, this fight is actually a lot easier than the first fight. Among his new attacks are some long distance ones like Twin Energy Wave. These are bad, since they mean there is no real "safe" distance from Terra, but at the same time, you can now unload a full barrage of Shotlock on him while he is performing his moves. Begin your Shotlock when the demons arms turn blue in color. This should make you invulnerable when his attack hits. But refrain from the Shotlocks when terra is not moving, or he is sending his shadow arm to attack. These are the times you need to be on the move. It is imperative you keep moving throughout the fight, so the Magic Hour and Time Splicer are just as effective in this round too.
Somewhere along 30 seconds or so into the fight, then periodically afterwards, Terra/Xehanort will transport Aqua into another dimension. He will then attack with a series of Dark Orbs. Cartwheeling towards Terra/Xehanort will make it very simple to dodge the attack. Another method of striking is get Aqua in close to Terra/Xehanort. Then hit the when prompted. This allows Terra and Aqua to join forces against the demonic presence. If you hit the at the right time when the ring closes around the next button prompt, (Similar to Ice Cream Beat) Terra and Aqua will perform a Dual Limit attack that is nothing short of devistating. But you have to time the button hitting just right.
Just remember to take your time with the fight, and keep from harms way. The battle will be over before you know it. |
Once you have defeated Terra/Xehanort's second form, you are free to watch the true end of Kingodm Hearts Birth By Sleep. If you played on standard mode or higher, and have completed the Secret Reports, you will then get the hidden "Blank Points" video, as well as two extremely powerful optional bosses. enjoy the ending.
