Cockpits

A cockpit is a must in any Gummi Ship you make. I mean seriously, you need someplace to fly the craft! But seriously each are really good choices. Cure and Curaga-G Gummi's increase the armor restored when items are picked up. Life and Full-Life-G automatically refill some of the armor once during the flight, if it is depleted. The Full-Life-G completely refills all armors. So there is really no losing with these guys.

Engines

The engines are what provide the main speed for the Gummi Ship. For example, the Holy-G engine can make you fly through space in no time flat. That being said, unless you apply the brakes constantly, you will miss out on a lot of items. So dependant on what your flying and collecting preferences are, choose the right engine for what you want and need.

Armor

These are the meat of the ship. The body so to speak. There are three different types of Armor Gummi. The Protect-G, Shell-G, and Dispel-G. With each type, there is a different style. But not a higher rank per say. Look through the table below, and see what Armor Gummi holds the best suited armor. And then just basically make the ship how you want it.

Wings

These Gummi improve the ships maneuverability. Going from the top down in the list with Aero being the poorest, and Tornado-G providing the smoothest control.

Weapons

You can add up to 10 total Weapon Gummi to your ship. You can place several of one type next to each o0ther on the ship. The concentrated blast will knock out most every enemy out there.
The Thundara-G is a very unique and awesome weapon, as it shoots in both directions to the side. If placed flat on the ship it will shoot left and right. If it is placed on the side, it will shot up and down. One of the best pieces.

Lasers

A blue icon will appear when your lasers lock on to their target. The more lasers you have, the more enemies you an lock onto at once.
The Ultima-G is a awesome weapon. The laser will tear through the targeted Gummi, then hit the next one in line. In some cases, it will come back to the hit enemy, and smack it again!

Special

These Gummi provide new capabilities and additions to your ship. This makes traveling between worlds much easier and more interesting.

Upgrades & Options

There are a couple different ugrades here to discuss, so we will do each of them separately.

Spray
This gives you the ability to recolor the Gummi Blocks on your ship. While the block is displayed in Select Mode, press the button to make the Spray Arm appear. Pressing the or allows you to choose what color you want. This can be purchased from Cid.

Palette
The palette gives you a choice of 8 out of 64 colors to paint your ship. Press the button in Select Mode to do a paint job. Press the button to open and expand the palette. The default colors are in the top row. The remaining colors can be bought from Cid.

SYS UP I & II
These exapnd the size of the garage, and allow for bigger Gummi Ships to be made. The first opens the garage from 6 to 8 squares. The second will expand it to 10 squares.

COM LV I, II, & III
These are important in many aspects. They allow for more Gummi Ship designs to be saved, higher block count construction, and they increase your ships power. It is very important to get these from Cid as soon as they become available to you.
