| The royal wizard to Disney Castle, Donald is well versed in the art of magic. He and his companion Goofy left the castle at the behest of Queen Minnie to find the king. Helping Sora defeat the Heartless, he continues to search for the King. When their journey brings them to Castle Oblivion, Donald once again rises to the challenge. |

| Goofy is the captain of the Royal Knights of Disney Castle, and is great with hand to hand combat. He and Donald, his close friend, were sent on a mission to find the King. He tries to avoid fighting at all costs, but his loyalty to the King as well as his friends means he will do what is required to help out. |

| Riku grew up with Sora and Kairi on Destiny Islands. Separated by fate, their friendship remained true. Riku though was tempted by the darkness, and though he overcomes it, it has tainted his heart. Riku also ventures to Castle Oblivion, in hopes of finding his friend Sora. Little does he know of the journey he will take within its walls. |

| King Mickey has, for some unknown reason, left Disney Castle. He was found by Sora, Donald, and Goofy, when they sealed the door to Kingdom Hearts. Mickey, together with Riku stayed in the realm of Darkness. Now, though separated at first, King Mickey comes to Riku's aid inside the walls of Castle Oblivion. |
