Final Fantasy X Characters

Tidus Star Blitzball player of the Zanarkand Abes.
final fantasy x character tidus
Everything is going well for Tidus. After the dissappearance of his Father Jecht, he became the star player of Zanarkand.
He has ever resented his father for his rough treatment and constant tormenting he got. Though he is gone now, and the torment with him, Tidus wants to know what happened to him, and is angry for him leaving him alone.
Tidus is actually a great fighter. Though a lot of his weapons do not bear the Piercing ability, he can easily keep up with the swifter four-legged enemies. As he increases his strength and agility, he will be able to tackle the aerial monsters as well.
Tidus is on the upper portion of the sphere grid. Right off the bat, he will begin learning such support spells as Haste and Slow. As he progresses the grid, he will gain a great deal of useful support abilites as well. His major role is to quicken the parties moves, or to reduce the enemies.
By the time he reaches the end of his portion of the grid, you should be able to send him to any other grid you wish. You can either go with a more magical aid, by going with Yuna or Lulu. If you want a more powerful fighter, head over to either Wakka or Auron.

Yuna High Summoner of Spira, and their only hope for the calm.
final fantasy x character yuna
Lady Yuna is the daughter of High Summoner Braska. He was responsible for defeating Sin ten years ago, and bringing the "Calm". Now Sin has returned, and it is up to Yuna to call the final Aeon, and again bring Spira peace. She asks her friends to be her guardians on her long pilgramige to ehr destiny.
Yuna is the "White Mage" of the group. She begins the game already having Cure in her supply of spells, but will quickly add to them. She also is the only summoner in the game. Her summons are quite powerful creatures that can easily devistate enemies.
She should be brought in to heal and aid in curing status ailments of other parties. The only real damage she is capable of inflicting is with the Aeons she possesses. Her physical attacks are virtually ineffective.
Yuna's position on the grid is down the left side. She will learn great recovery and defensive spells along her journey. Ultimately she will become a major player on the field. Not only can she cure status effects, restore HP, she can also reduce damage from physical and magical attacks.
Once she learns Holy, and has finished her grid, you might want to continue her magical stats, by placing her into Lulu's grid. This will allow her more ability to damage enemies with her magical talents.

Wakka An excellent Blitzball player, and loyal guardian of Yuna.
final fantasy x character wakka
Though he is one great Blitzer, Wakka has decided to call it quits after the tournament. He wishes to devote himself to being Yuna's guardian.
Wakka finds Tidus first, and is quick to befriend him. He feels a strong connection to everyone in the party, especially Lulu.
Wakka is the aerial fighter of the group. His ability to toss his Blitzball, allows him to damage out of range enemies. He is a powerful hitter, but has a poor defense and magic defense. Using his status attacks on bigger enemies will prove quite useful though.
In the sphere grid, Wakka occupies the right side. On his travel through it, he will gain a lot of status attacks, and a few spells to drain HP?MP from his enemies. Once he finishes his portion of the grid, you can send him into Auron's grid for more damaging attacks, or into Tidus's for a faster hitter.

Lulu A woman of experience and wisdom and great skill with Black Magic.
final fantasy x character lulu
Lulu is very quiet and reserved. She gives a sense of intensity to people, but there is a lot of depth in her feelings, and her emotions that only a select few truly know. She has looked after Yuna much like an older sister. And is there for guidance and counsel if needed.
Lulu is a true to form Black Mage. She has the ability to use her powerful spells to damage out of range enemies, as well as flyers. But with a poor physical defense and lower HP, she easily can become prey to hard physical attacks.
Lulu occupies the lower right side of the sphere grid. Her magical attributes will raise as she goes, thus increasing the damage of her spells. You should also consider learning Osmose and Drain, when they open up. When you finish Lulu's grid, you should send her over to Yuna's, so she can also gain some healing magic as well.

Kimahri Ronso Truest of loyal friends, and learned in the ways of monsters.
final fantasy x character kimahri
Kimahri is small for a Ronso, but is still a giant. He has been by Yuna's side from the beginning, and has loyally devoted himself to being her guardian. Though he rarely speaks, his mere presence speaks volumes.
Kimahri is perhaps the most versitile of any of the characters. He is a decent fighter, and has good magical attributes as well. Quite a few of his weapons bear the piercing ability, which makes him a great substitute when dealing with more than one armored enemy.
Kimahri is started right in the center of the sphere grid. He also has the smallest grid of the group. Once you have completed his grid, you can move him into any other grid, and still not go wrong. If you want a magic user, head into one of the ladies grids, if you want a powerful striker, head into Wakka, Auron, or Tidus's grids.

Auron A legendary guardian, returned to see the end of Sin once more.
final fantasy x character auron
Auron originally accompanied the High Summoner Braska on his journey to defeat Sin. Since then, he has been watching over Tidus. Now he has brought Yuna and Tidus together, that they may be able to defeat the power of Sin once and for all.
Not too much is truly known about Auron, or what has happened to him over the last ten years. All one knows is that when he swings his blade, no enemy will stand a chance.
Almost every single weapon Auron has has the piercing ability. This makes him the top choice for armored enemies. Though he has a rough time with the faster enemies, his "break" abilities can still connect with just about any enemy.
Auron's grid sits right between Tidus and Wakka. As he travels through his grid, he will gain a massive amount of strength and HP. He will also acquire a lot of "break" abilities to hinder enemies attacks and defense. Once he has finished his grid, it would be wise to go straight into Tidus's. This will give him a great boost in speed and agility to go with the powerhouse he already is.

Rikku An upbeat positive personality amongst the sorrow of the world.
final fantasy x character rikku
A thief in nature, Rikku can steal enemy items, for the party's own use. She is Yuna's cousin, and chooses to follow her on her pilgrimage as her final guardian.
With her expertise in technology, you will be able to customize your equipment when she joins.
Whenever there is Machina around, bring Rikku in to steal from it. She can find the item that is key to its survival, and destroy the machina by taking it. It is also good for her to steal from other enemies as well.
She has a rather weak physical attack, but the items she can use possess a major punch.
Rikku's grid is right below Yuna's. Although Rikku will gain little physical prowess on her travel, she can easily steal from her enemies with her higher agility. Steal and mug will benefit the group in many ways. Bribe is great for getting rare items from enemies as well.
Considering her fairly weak attacks, it would be wise to send her into either Lulu or Yuna's grid. This way, she can either help restore the party, or damage the enemies with magic.
