Awakening features two new classes for each of the three branches, as well as the classes from Origins. These are great additions to any specialization, and should be useful in your journey through Awakening.
|
Warrior
Warriors are the brute force of the team. This class is by far the strongest and the hardest of the melee hitters. This class can utilize Dual Weapon, Weapon and Shield, or 2-Handed Weapon skills. Load them up with strong armor and weapons, and let the have at. |

Rogue
Rogues are very quick and nimble warriors. Stealth is their key to success in everything. This class offers a more nimble character who is a very cunning fighter. This is the only class that allows for lock-picking, and gives boosts to coercion and stealing. The prefered weapons are either swords and knives or bows. This is perhaps the best all around class to have, since they are strong fighters, as well as able to get into locked chests right away. |

Legionnaire Scout |
Gained at the beginning of Awakening |
|
|
Shadow |
Gained at the beginning of Awakening |

Mage
Mages are well versed in the art of spellcrafting. Most mages are sent to the Circle of the Magi, where they are taught to use their powers properly. There are some who ahve remained outside of the circle, and are regarded as dangerous Apostates. It is a good idea to give the mage magic robes, and powerful staves. If you choose to become and Arcane Warrior, then there are a few powerful swords and armor at your disposal. |
It should be noted that if you choose to be a mage, you will begin in the Circle Tower, no matter what race you are. Also Dwarves are the only race that cannot become mages. |
